Installing on Windows▾

Windows SmartScreen may warn before install

  1. When the installer runs, SmartScreen may say "Windows protected your PC".
  2. Click "More info", then "Run anyway" - the app is safe; this is normal for new indie software.

Removing SmartScreen warnings requires an Extended Validation (EV) code signing certificate, typically $300–500+ per year. As a small developer we're not there yet - your download is still verified via SHA-256 on this page.

  1. Run the installer - click "More info" → "Run anyway" if SmartScreen appears
  2. Follow the setup wizard (installs to Program Files)
  3. Open Vizalyze - sign in (optional) to start your free 7-day full trial
  4. Your data never leaves your machine.
Installing on macOS▾

macOS Gatekeeper may block first launch

  1. You may see "Vizalyze cannot be opened because the developer cannot be verified".
  2. Right-click Vizalyze in Applications → Open, then click Open in the dialog.
  3. Alternatively: System Settings → Privacy & Security → Open Anyway.

Apple requires notarization through the Apple Developer Program ($99/year). We haven't notarized yet, so macOS shows a one-time warning for new apps - not a sign the file is malicious.

  1. Open the .dmg file and drag Vizalyze to Applications
  2. Right-click Vizalyze in Applications → Open
  3. Click "Open" in the security dialog
  4. Sign in (optional) to start your free 7-day full trial
Installing on Linux▾
  1. Extract: tar -xzf Vizalyze-*.tar.gz
  2. Run: ./Vizalyze/Vizalyze
  3. Optional: create a .desktop shortcut for your launcher
  4. Sign in (optional) to start your free 7-day full trial
